Teen Ambassador Program

Raphael House is seeking high school students for a volunteer internship position!

Promote healthy relationships and domestic violence awareness by volunteering as a Teen Ambassador. You'll visit schools in the Portland Metro Area educating other students and providing them with the resources they need to make healthy relationship choices.

Requirements: Sophomore or Junior in Portland-area high school with GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must be willing to commit 3-5 hours per week and at least one weekend per month. We're looking for students who are diligent, energetic, motivated and willing to speak in public.

Corporate Education Program

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that the annual cost of lost productivity due to domestic violence equals $727.8 million, with more than 7.9 million paid workdays lost each year. Employers also absorb much of the healthcare cost of domestic violence, with direct medical and mental healthcare expenses for victims totaling $4.1 billion annually.
